Who receives these messages

Only the company's own on-call engineering staff. At present that is a single recipient. No customer, patient, healthcare provider, or member of the public receives these messages, and none can.

How consent is given

Consent is given verbally, when a person joins the on-call rotation. Carrying the operational pager is a condition of that role, and agreeing to receive these alerts is part of accepting it.

There is no public sign-up form, because there is no public audience. The recipient list is not collected from anyone — it is configuration held by the company inside its own cloud account. Adding or removing a recipient is a change the company makes to that configuration, for its own staff.

What is sent

Automated notifications raised when monitoring detects an incident in the company's own software platform — a service outage, a failed deployment, or database and payment-provider errors. Nothing else is ever sent from this number. There is no marketing or promotional content of any kind, and no patient information is ever included.

Sample message

[ALARM] mymedi-prod-api-backend-down — HealthyHostCount less than 1 for mymediscribe-prod-api. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Opting out

A recipient may reply STOP at any time to end all messages, or ask to be removed from the on-call rotation, which removes them from the configuration entirely. Message and data rates may apply.
